Coach Billy White · Co-Founder / Trainer
Billy White started boxing at age 16 in 1976 under Constantine "Cus" D'Amato, legendary International Boxing Hall Of Fame manager-trainer inductee (1996) who led Mike Tyson and Floyd Patterson to become the youngest heavyweight champions ever.
White fought 52 amateur bouts (42 wins) and was a three-time New York State Golden Gloves regional finalist. He then served as sports editor of the Catskill, New York daily and weekly newspapers (1982-89) where he covered the meteoric rise of Tyson, his Catskill Boxing Club teammate and youngest heavyweight champion in boxing history (20 years, 145 days old).
When Tyson stepped back into the ring in 2020, White served as his head trainer against Roy Jones at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and Jake Paul at Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
Guided by D'Amato's enduring belief that success in boxing -- and in life-- is 80 percent mental conditioning and 20% physical training, White founded CONFIDENCE OF CHAMPIONS, LLC; dedicated to empowering athletes at every level in all sports to unlock their full potential.
